Church affiliated F/T preschool seeks experienced early-childhood specialist to lead established program.  Responsibilities include curriculum, staff administration, school promotion to parents and community and fostering a healthy Christian atmosphere.  Requires BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Accreditation and Director Credential.  Email resumes here.

Minimum Requirements:

1. •    Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
   

2. •    4 years experience working with groups of preschool children
   

3. •    2 years supervisory experience
   

4. •    Child Development Accreditation
   

5. •    Director Credential
   

Responsibilities:

1. 1.Develop and implement policies and objectives of the program in cooperation with the Pastor to fulfill mission.
   

2. 2.Maintain healthy, safe atmosphere for Children and staff
   

3. 3.Promote Christian values in a Christian environment
   

4. 4.Create sense of community among staff, children and families
   

5. 5.Actively seek and take advantage of opportunities for development.
   

6. 6.Prepare and manage budget for center.
   

7. 7.Participate in recruitment, selection and administration of staff.
   

8. 8.Adhere to state and local rules and regulations specific to child care facilities ensuring staff members understand and follow them.
   

9. 9.Teach and promote development of children in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center and the church.
   

10. 10.Promote and market Center to Community.
    

11. 11.Communicate regularly and positively to church, staff, parents and community.
    

12. 12.Other responsibilities as indicated through interview process.
